Well, tooth. And another fierce one on its way.

Unseasonably Cute

Freddy took advantage of some unusually warm January weather to visit his Great Uncle Raymond (aka Other GranPete) and Great Aunt Lorna in Emerald Isle this past weekend. Naturally, hilarity ensued. So did good pictures, thanks to Lorna and Raym's superior cameras.

What's all this light? Is that sunshine? I haven't seen THAT in a while...

Can we go to the beach already?


Just let me grab my cool, tasty beverage!

Day 1 wasn't THAT warm. Still needed our hoody. And our GranJan.

Day 2: WOW! Mid-sixties, an ocean view, and adoring grandparents. Plus we saw dolphins plaing just beyond the surf. This is what I call a weekend!

One disappointing thing: the food at the beach is pretty much the same as at home. On the other hand, I LOVE the food at home!

We really should do this more often. Now put me down so I can body surf. I'm almost ONE, for crying out loud!!

And for the big finale: EATING SAND. We'll just leave out the picture of the face he made right after this. Turns out it looks better than it tastes.

Of course of all the new toys, Freddy's fave is the piece of cardboard someone left on the floor and the old remote control for the TV.








Zilch, on the other hand, made enthusiastic use of his new toy - a doggy pacifier - which lasted approximately one hour before torn into many small blue pieces that Freddy enjoyed tracking down on the dining room floor.
